Job description
The Senior Manager, Education and Impact will lead the development, coordination, and implementation of the global partnership between World Scouting and Accenture, ensuring the effective delivery strategic workstreams that strengthen sustainability education, support youth-led solutions and advocacy from community action projects, and advance innovation in volunteering and digital transformation.
The role will contribute to assessing needs and delivering targeted support with Member Organizations by coordinating services, activities, and projects across the World Scout Bureau in the areas of World Scouting’s education initiatives, Youth Programme development, and youth leadership. This includes working closely with staff, volunteer experts, and networks across regions to strengthen knowledge-sharing, develop practical resources, and enable consistent support to Member Organizations.
The role will also contribute to partnership management and external engagement in close collaboration with the Business Development team, ensuring effective reporting, visibility, and relationship stewardship, while working in a matrix environment with colleagues across Education, Research and Development, Communications and Digital, and World Events.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate assigned projects, services, and initiatives, ensuring effective implementation and delivery in collaboration with consultants and volunteers.
Coordinate partnership activities and work closely with donors, managing project teams and ensuring alignment throughout the implementation process.
Support and monitor consultants and volunteers during service delivery, ensuring quality standards and providing guidance where needed.
Contribute to identifying the needs of National Scout Organizations (NSOs) and support the implementation of relevant services and initiatives aligned with Regional Triennial Plans.
Support the implementation of World Scouting’s EarthTribe and LifeLeaders education initiatives, working closely with regional colleagues to ensure consistent and high-quality delivery.
Monitor programme implementation and contribute to reporting and communication of results, including impact stories and updates for stakeholders.
Support the continuous improvement of guidance and resources provided to NSOs by contributing to their review and update.
Job requirements
Experience and Qualification
A degree or equivalent qualification in a field related to education, and impact measurement.
Training or certification in project management is an asset.
5–10 years of professional experience supporting capacity building in volunteer-based or membership organisations.
5 -10 years of experience managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders.
Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of other World Scouting languages (Spanish, French, or Arabic) is an asset.

Capacity building and volunteer support: Ability to guide, mentor, and strengthen the capacity of consultants and volunteers, ensuring they are well-prepared to deliver services and maintain high standards of quality.
Monitoring, reporting and impact communication: Ability to track programme implementation, prepare clear reports for stakeholders, and communicate the impact of initiatives through structured information and compelling narratives.
Analytical thinking. Ability to analyse information, identify patterns and needs, and interpret data to support decision-making, programme implementation, and continuous improvement.
Terms and Conditions
The World Scout Bureau offers a range of tangible and intangible working benefits. This is a full-time position with a three-year contract under local law.
A salary paid monthly will be appropriate to the seniority of the role.
The position is open in based in Africa Support Centre in Nairobi, Asia Pacific Support Centre in Manila or remote.
Contractual hours of work are a minimum of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, but additional hours may be required for the effective performance of the role for which there will be no additional remuneration. The successful candidate must be willing to work in the evenings and on weekends, when necessary.
Annual leave and public holidays entitlement as per the local law where the position is located and the WSB Leave Policy.
